Viva Blackpool is a cabaret showbar and events venue in Blackpool, Lancashire, England. Its aim is to “celebrate everything that’s great about Blackpool” and host the town’s best live events. The venue hosts regular shows, entertainment and community events throughout the year. Regular events include its own shows such as the Summer Spectacular, cabarets, variety performances, theatre such as its current star show Mamma Mia!, comedy nights held every Friday, and music gigs. The venue is also available for hire. The venue is situated in the heart of the Blackpool seafront on Church Street next to the newly refurbished Blackpool Tower. Viva Blackpool features luxury fittings and state-of-the-art performance technology. The main show theatre can accommodate 632 people at once. There is a dedicated bar area and showgirl photo booth. ==2012 Opening== The venue opened on August 6th 2012 after a 6 week refurbishment. Famous host Leye D Johns hosted brilliant shows over the entire opening weekend which also featured vocalists Phil Jeffries, Emma Norman, Michael Cosgrove, Kristina Castellina and the Viva Showgirl dancers.
